Welcome to issue #1 of Singer Release Notes! We’ll be sending these out once a month or so to keep you updated. Questions, comments and suggestions are always welcome, simply reply to this email to let us know your thoughts.

# Getting started with Singer
The best way to get an overview of Singer is in our Getting Started Guide on GitHub. Be sure to check out the Best Practices document for our advice on building and using Taps and Targets. We’ll keep adding to this document, so feel free to submit a pull request if you would like to see something added.
# The Singer roadmap
We’re making our product roadmap public to keep you up to date on what is being worked on, what is up next, and some of the top requested Singer projects. It describes Taps, Targets, tools, and other work related to Singer - check it out here
# New Taps released
Shoutout to Facet Interactive for building a Harvest Tap and Fishtown Analytics for building an Outbrain Tap!
Want your Tap to be officially supported by Singer? Reply to this email and we’ll reach out with more information.
# How to get involved
Join the Singer Slack community to chat with us and other users of Singer. Feel free ask questions, bounce ideas around, and make suggestions.
Looking to get even more involved? You can also contribute to Singer by reviewing documentation, resolving issues in GitHub repos, or tackling an item from the roadmap wishlist
Singer is sponsored by Stitch, a fully-managed data pipeline. With Stitch you can run Singer Taps on your schedule, stream the data to your warehouse, and enjoy automated monitoring and alerting.
