# Battling COVID-19 with data
In collaboration with developers from the Singer open source community, a joint team from Talend and Bytecode has created a Singer tap for COVID-19 public datasets. The tap utilizes the GitHub V3 API library to query and retrieve files stored in multiple GitHub repositories. Users must get a GitHub token, which allows the tap to increase the number of API calls. They can then select one or all of the supported public datasets and the fields associated with them, then select their favorite target. The integration is also available within Stitch. Read more about the new tap on the Talend blog.
# New and revised taps
The Singer community has had a busy winter and early spring. We’ve added 20 new Singer taps to the Singer GitHub repository since our last newsletter:
All Singer taps are available on GitHub.
