# New taps released!
AppsFlyer by ezCater, FullStory by Expected Behavior, and Selligent by Fishtown Analytics have been released!
Want your tap to be added to the Singer project? Reply to this email and we’ll reach out with more information.
# Best Practices
We’ve added bookmarking to our growing list of best practices for building taps and targets. Adding bookmarks to the state indicates a tap’s progress through a data source, which allows streams to pick up where they left off when replicating data incrementally. Bookmarks also serve to provide more granular information about progress through an individual stream.
# Singer Tools
We’re always thinking of tools that can make working with Singer taps and targets easier.
The diff-jsonl tool can be used to diff any two jsonl files. Because the Singer spec uses JSON, this is particularly helpful when assessing the output of a tap to help ensure you’re not unexpectedly breaking a schema with your changes.
You can see all of our tools in our GitHub repo, contribute your own with a PR, or share your ideas by creating an issue.
# The Singer roadmap
We’ve added to our In Progress, Up Next, and Wishlist lists on the public roadmap. Check it out for more details on taps, targets, tools, and other work related to Singer.
# How to get involved
Join the Singer Slack community to chat with us and other users of Singer. Feel free ask questions, bounce ideas around, and make suggestions.
Looking to get even more involved? You can contribute to Singer by reviewing documentation, resolving issues in GitHub repos, or tackling an item from the roadmap wishlist
Singer is sponsored by Stitch, a fully-managed data pipeline. With Stitch you can run Singer Taps on your schedule, stream the data to your warehouse, and enjoy automated monitoring and alerting.
